Getting to Brighton

Brighton has a great network of transport links, meaning that it’s easy and quick to get to. Regular rail links with London and the rest of the country mean that the end of the line is the beginning of a great experience.

It’s less than an hour from London by car, with plenty of city-centre parking facilities.

TRAIN DETAILS: From London Victoria there are fast trains taking just 50 minutes to get you straight into Brighton. If you are linking from the North of the country then you can also catch the train from St Pancras/Kings Cross, with journeys taking 1hour and 15 minutes! Go to www.nationalrail.co.uk to get full details of train times and stations visited.

ARRIVING BY CAR: Brighton is positioned at the end of the M23, with fast links to the M25 London Orbital and the rest of the country from there. To plan your journey and get approximate travel times then check out the AA Journey Planning website. Be aware that parking is always a challenge in Brighton, especially for extended visits. Some of our properties come with parking facilities, but otherwise the city has a  number of NCP Car Parks where you can safely leave your vehicle!

ARRIVING BY PLANE couldn’t be simpler – from Gatwick it’s just a short train ride straight into the heart of the city, with trains direct to Brighton stopping at Gatwick Airport train station up to every 12 minutes. Landing at Heathrow, then the simplest and most economical way of getting to Brighton is on the National Express coaches, which pick up and drop off at each terminal approximately every hour. Booking in advance can save money and this also means you avoid the stress of travelling into central London and then picking up a train from Victoria Station – which will be slower and more expensive. Check out National Express Coach’s website for times and prices.
