The range of activities on offer to families across the UK in museums and heritage institutions is staggering from reliving the Battle of Bosworth in Leicestershire of the Diwali celebrations and Bollywood dancing at Brighton and Hove museum.

There will be a huge steam locomotive available for visitors to have a ride on in the courtyard for a small fee. Other activities which are normally available anyway are still open including a simulator where you can experience the thrill of breathtaking rides indoors and there is also an adventure playground. The museum is easily accessible especially if you go by train as it is right next to York Railway Station.
