Make sure you’re staying for the laughs when Brighton Comedy festival hits the city.

In the mood for a good giggle? Get yourself to Brighton for the 2009 Magners Brighton Comedy festival.

It seems like every comedian on the circuit is heading to the South Coast this October. And you should be too!

Running from the 8th to 24th October and held at the Brighton Dome there’s such a stuffed full line-up that there has to be someone who makes you chuckle.

There’s the fiesty Alan Carr opening the festival, the slightly too close to the bone wit of the incorrigibly bitchy and incredibly successful Jimmy Carr and the sardonic charm of Simon Anstell and his Do Nothing show.

You can travel down from London for a show or two but why not make a weekend of it and book yourself a self catering flat. It’s always nice to have a base to come back to after an evening on the tiles.

To plan your time accordingly check out the full list of gigs
